Girl Talk

"Whether you seek advice on handling running out of booze during the holidays or running into your ex on the subway, Girl Talk offers the keys to coping in a world bereft of rhyme or reason." This is written by Christie Young a book that offers advice and on your everyday life.
It's like a handbook for your life but done with tons of humor and not taking things so seriously.  I found this book to be a book that you will want pass around to all your girlfriends.  I also found the book cover to be really gorgeous the picture does not do the book justice.  I will want to put this book on display it is a picture of beauty.  When you open the book you thinking its going to look like every other book but it doesn't.  It is crafted to look like your journal with tons of pictures that look like your drawn them.  It gives you advice on hangovers, getting over your ex, to sex and being alone. An important guide for every modern women giving you advice on every part of your life.

Who loves a book haul???

This may look like a huge book haul but for me it's not because this is the first time I have bought physical books in a year.  I love my Kindle and Nook and have been using it completely for reading.  I have missed my books and happy to be buying them again I wish my credit cards felt the same way.

If you like Pinterest you will like this book.

Whether you're drinking your morning coffee or coming home after a rough day, your living room should make you light up.  it should be a place that invites games and naps and parties.  There are no rules except this- make it your own.  Challenge yourself to unlearn everything you ever knew about decorating. Erase every rule. Open up your mind to the endless ways to customize your space and make it feel like your cool place.

At first glance this book I did not fall in love with it. A lot of the pictures did not draw me in at first glance.. The book looked like a book more geared towards a single person living that fun single life instead of a mom raising a toddler. It was not until I sat down with the book and took a closer look at the book and feel in love with several of the diy projects. One of my all time favorites is the Headboard on page 132 what a great idea.  This headboard is genius idea and will be my first diy that I copy from the book.
I also really loved the chapter on small spaces everyone could benefit from the ideas in this chapter.  It showed you how to make the most of your space and to use items you never would have thought to use.
Then I came upon the recipes and that made the book a plus and a must have book on your bookcase.

I received this book from the publisher to read and post a honest review.
